Advanced Community Healthcare were approached by my late Grandfathers Social Worker when he was ready to be discharged from hospital. They immediately contacted me to arrange an appropriate time to come and talk to us to put a care package together to ensure all my Grandfathers care needs were met.
Sarah, Caroline and their team were amazing. Not only did they care for and support my Grandfather, they made a point of ensuring that the whole household was OK and coping with everything on a daily basis. The whole team are kind, caring, polite, compassionate, empathetic and professional. They always went above and beyond what was expected of them, and we wouldn’t have got through the last few months without them. We could contact Sarah or Caroline at any time day or night if we had any problems or concerns, and they would always be as honest and supportive as they possibly could be.
We as a family could not have wished for a more dedicated team of carers to care for my Grandfather in his last few months of life. We are hoping the team at Advanced Community Healthcare will soon be caring for my Grandmother. All that’s left to say is a MASSIVE thank you to an amazing team.

A massive thank you for the magnificent team work and dedication from our team of carers during the Tour De France. The day could not have gone smoother, and even on foot we made each call on time. Well done team!
Where to start—What to say.
It began with a leaflet posted through the door. There was a comprehensive range of services enabling people requiring care to stay in their own home. I was particularly impressed with the fact that the two managers had extensive nursing experience between them.
My mum, an extremely proud independent lady and an ex nurse to boot with an aversion to living out her days in a care home.
She was receiving a reasonable standard of care from another agency, ideally I would love to have cared for her myself with some assistance but unfortunately have a debilitating disease therefore unable to do so. I also have an extensive background in nursing and know what standards of care I myself would deliver.
Following a lengthy conversation with Sarah, one of the managers then a discussion with mum her care was in place within days. Her needs have been adjusted as and when required. The managers are in regular contact with me if there is any problem and dealt with accordingly.
I am 100% happy with the care that my mum is receiving from these lovely ladies and their staff. Mum is well cared for, fed, clean and so happy to be in her home.
I made the right decision.
“I was recommended ACHC by a friend whose family have care delivered by ACHC. I called and was received with great empathy for our situation and clear assurances of what care could be offered to me and my elderly friend.
I arranged an initial visit where my friend and I had the opportunity to meet staff and discuss her needs. Her personally tailored care began one week later. Staff listened to me and understood the needs of my friend and my concerns about her situation and care.
As I am not able to visit more than once a week, I am reassured that she is getting the best possible care. Staff keep in touch with me and notify me of any concerns. My friend had a medical issue – I was informed immediately and was able to arrange a visit from her GP that afternoon. By the end of the day, she had been prescribed the appropriate medication and arrangements had been made to deliver and administer it.”
